The new Mac mini was launched July 2011 and is currently the only Mac that doesn’t come with its own keyboard and mouse.

The target market for the Mac mini are Microsoft Windows switchers, who have already their own display, keyboard and mouse. The Mac mini’s performance is equal with many of the notebook models in Apple’s MacBook Pro line, which is not surprising since they use many of the same components.
Because of it small size, the Mac mini can be used in small office places or as an living room computer. The Mac mini can be connect through the HDMI-Port in the back with the TV. With the built-in WiFi it´s possible to get access to the internet and to other WiFi devices in the house. There’s also an SD card slot in the back. This makes it easy to download pictures or videos from a camera to watch and share on the Mac mini.
The Apple Mac mini could be perfect for graphic and web designer, who working sometimes in a shared office. So they need just a screen, keyboard and mouse in the shared office. After work its very easy take the Mac mini at home and continue to work.
The price for the Mac mini at the Apple Store is AU$699. So thats cheaper than a MacBook or an iMac.
